Bailey's first horse was the annual Bancroft Saddle Club show held in Bancroft Nebraska. The night before the
show she helped me get Smoke all cleaned up, banded, and ready to go. We arrived nice and early to make sure
everything went well. Bailey was like and old pro, she did GREAT!

Her first class was leadline and there were twelve in the class. We went in at a walk and the judge made us trot,
then stop, reverse, walk and trot in the other direction. This was no big deal since we have practiced this many,
many times, the only problem was that the arena was very deep since we have gotten all the rain and I about lost
my boot in the mud. Even with that she place 3rd and got a huge ribbon.

Bailey's last class of the day, due to rain, was Jr. Jr. Walk Trot 11 & Under, and there were eleven in her class.
We entered her in this class just to get experience. Like before Bailey & Smoke did great. Walk and trotted on
command, plus revered on the rail. The most important thing was that she had great posture the whole time.... we
have been working on that.
After line up they started naming the results and Bailey got 4th out of all those big kids. We hooped and hollered
for her. She rocked it.
